Lebanon War (1982)
In 1982 the Israelis invade Lebanon with the U.S.'s support. this is based on terrorist attacks from Lebanon. Israel targets civilians, and is so brutal that they receive world wide criticism aside from the U.S. Israel occupies Southern Lebanon.
Israel has also targeted Lebanese agricultural land in its war with Hezbollah since 7 October.
As The Cradle reported, hundreds of acres of southern Lebanon's lush agricultural areas have been damaged by Israeli incendiary bombing.
According to Save the Children, "An increase in cross-border shelling and rocket fire since 7 October has triggered blazes in a key agricultural area of Lebanon that have run wild through olive groves and nearby farming communities."
In February, the charity noted that tens of thousands of families in southern Lebanon have lost their livelihood, with Israeli military fire destroying over 47,000 olive trees – as well as other crops during their harvest.
The South Lebanese Army (SLA) committed the Sabra and Shatila massacre in a Palestinian refugee camp under the supervision of Israeli brigadier general, and future Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon. The Israeli's lit up the sky with white phosphorus flares so the Christian paramilitaries could go in there and kill at least 3000 people. The SLA had to run to Israel when Hezbollah chased them out.
Sabra and Shatila massacre - In 1982, Lebanon's Sabra and Shatila Palestinian refugee camps were attacked under the order of Israeli defense minister and future prime minister, Arial Sharon, by a collaborating Lebanese militia group called Phalange, killing, raping and torturing 300,000 people, with Israel failing to intervene in the slaughter.
Lebenon War (2006)
Retired Major General Giora Eiland: ''Serious damage to the Republic of Lebanon, the destruction of homes and infrastructure, and the suffering of hundreds of thousands of people are consequences that can influence Hezbollah's behavior more than anything else.''
The war ended in Israel's embarrassing defeat: ''Israel overestimated the purity of its intelligence and the efficacy of its strategy and technology, and underestimated Hezbollah's skill and resilience.'' - Military affairs analyst Bill Arkin
After they lost, they did a massive bombardment of Beirut with air strikes, then took their frustration out on Gaza with their new Dahiya doctrine.
Dahiya doctrine - The Dahiya doctrine (named after a Lebanese suburb abliterated by Israel) is state sanctioned military doctrine specifically for Lebanon developed after the 2006 Lebanon War, advocating for the use of disproportionate, overwhelming force and destruction of civilian infrastructure. It involves targeting economic interests and civilian power centers in the hopes of forcing the population to turn on its military.
12 day war (2025)
Pager attack - Israel sabotaged pagers to blow up, killing at least 12 people including 2 children. This was reported by multiple Western news outlets as an attack on Hezbollah, but the attack didn't target Hezbollah, but anybody using a pager, who are practically only doctors and nurses. Iran War (2026)
Journalist Malek Al Rougui published footage of a virtual university lecture that was cut short by an Israeli strike. During the attack, a student’s home was hit and the student’s mother was killed live on the call.
A 4-year-old girl filming a YouTube video captured the moment a bomb hit their tent, killing her mother instantly.
