One of the groups, Addameer gave legal support Palestinian political prisoners. Al-Haq was a Palastinian state institution. (Other groups: Bisan Center for Research and Development; Defense for Children International - Palestine; Health Work Committees; the Union of Agricultural Work Committees; the Union of Palestinian Women's Committees.)
Josh Paul - According to former US State Department official Josh Paul, after he and his colleagues received credible evidence that Israeli forces had raped a 14-year-old Palestinian boy in Al-Moskibiyya detention center, Israel raided the offices of the human rights group that passed the information on to the State Department, later declaring it a terrorist organization. UNWRA Contingncy - The Israeli Foreign Ministry drafted a document detailing a three stage plan to push UNWRA out of Gaza. (Stage 1: Smear UNRWA; Stage 2: Reduce its operations in Gaza; Stage 3: Replace it completely to destroy Palestinians' right of return.) This coincided perfectly with the ICJ citing UNRWA as a source for the on-going genocide.
PayPal - PayPal does'nt operate in the Palestinian territories. Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are blocked from opening accounts or linking local bank accounts to the platform, while PayPal remains fully accessible to Israeli citizens and settlements in the same region.
Counter-Terrorism Law, Amendment No. 9 - In 2023, the Knesset approved an amendment to Israel's Counter-Terrorism Law, under which a sentence of up to a year in prison can be imposed on anyone who "systematically and continuously consumes terrorist publications,” which are defined as "a direct call to commit an act of terrorism" or "words of praise, sympathy or encouragement for an act of terrorism.”
Al Jazeera Law - In May 2024, Netanyahu’s cabinet passed the 'Al Jazeera Law,' voting to shut Al Jazeera’s operations in Israel. The law also prohibits broadcasting and internet companies, and YouTube from providing services to the network inside Israel. Later in September that year, Israeli forces also stormed Al Jazeera’s offices in the occupied West Bank’s Ramallah city, confiscating equipment and documents, closing the network’s office. In 2025, the Israeli parliament approved an extension of 2024's 'Al Jazeera Law,' for two more years.
