In 1963, Prime Minister Ab al-Karim Qasim, was toppled by the Ba'ath Party, later run by Saddam Hussein.
Within days, mass arrests began, and many suspected communists and leftists were executed. Multiple credible sources, including former US officials, have claimed that the CIA provided lists of suspected communists to the new regime. Declassified British and US documents show that both governments were in close contact with the coup plotters in advance.
Operation Opera - In 1981, Israel bombed Iraq's nuclear reactor facility, being claimed the reactor was about to become operational, and was a threat to Israel because it could produce nuclear weapons. These claims were contradicted by a number of experts.
The Carter Administration, with Zbigniew Brzezinski encouraged Saddam Hussein to attack Iran. Ronald Reagan and Donald Rumsfeld continued to fund Saddam, providing him with the precursors used to make chemical weapons, which were used on Iranian soldiers and civilians. Intelligence was hand carried to the government of Iraq by Defense Intelligence Officer, Walter Patrick Lang.
Gulf War
Incubators - To justify the first war with Iraq, a 15-year-old girl named "Nayirah" tearfully testified to the US Congress that Iraqi soldiers pulled Kuwaiti babies from hospital incubators and left them to die on the cold floor. Nayriha turned out to be Nayirah al-Sabah, the daughter of Saud al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the US and a prominent member of the ruling Al-Sabah royal family.
Post-war investigations by journalists and independent human rights organizations proved that the alleged atrocity was completely fabricated. The same accusation later happened in real life during the Gaza genocide when Israel turned the electricity off.
Oil-for-Food - During sanctions on Iraq, the UN came up with the Oil-for-Food Programme in 1995 to allow Iraq to sell oil on the world market in exchange for food and medicine for Iraqi citizens without Iraq boosting its military. It should have been called *Oil-for-Not Enough-Food, because half a million Iraqis still starved to death.
Highway of death - When the defeated Iraqis were leaving Kuwait, America bombed them out of spite. Highway 80 was a six-lane road between Kuwait City and Basra, Iraq, where US-led coalition forces bombed retreating Iraqi military personnel and civilians, destroying up to 2,000 vehicles.
Iraq War
(((Engineering))) pretext for the war
PNAC (Project for New American Century) was a think thank founded by columnist, (((Robert Kagen))), (((Bill Kristol))) (future chief of staff) and Dick Chaney.
Claims that Saddam was hiding weapons of mass destruction originated from reports by PNAC. Beforehand, PNAC had been writing reports arguing for war with Iraq and Afghanistan as far back as the 90s, in papers like how to attack Iraq, The Afghan vortex (2000), and Saddam's impending victory, (1998) by Robert Kagen. They referred to Saddam's palaces as "so called palaces".
PNAC's Rebuilding America's Defenses, Strategy, Forces, and Resources, published in 2000, specifically mentioned the need for a new Pearl Harbor (9/11) to justify war.
Another PNAC member was (((Richard Perle))), who had worked for an Israeli group called IASPS, where he authored a policy paper called A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm, addressed to Netanyahu. Perle would later become chairman of the Defense Policy Board in the US Department of Defense.
Working under Richard Perle in the Pentagon, Secretary of War for Policy, (((Doug Feith))) (who was on the payroll of Northrop Grumman) ran a secretive special office in the DoD called the Office of Special Plans, comprising of PNAC members, and Larry Franklin, who would pass classified intelligence to AIPAC. This office included Israeli generals, and there is reason to believe that it had a mirror group in the Knesset.
Lt. col Karen Kwiatkowski explains in an article how military officers opinions were dismissed or even punished by the civilian cabal brought in by the American Enterprise Institute, PNAC's parent group. She also mentions that she was directed to go down to the call entrance to pick up six Israeli generals, while post 9/11 rules required one escort for every three visitors: "The leader of the pack surged ahead his colleagues in close formation, leaving us to double time behind the group as they sped to the undersecretary, Feith's office on the fourth floor." She notes that the generals knew where they were going, where most foreign visitors to the Pentagon don't, and that the generals didn't have to sign in.
WMDs - Former Deputy Commander of the Israeli military’s planning division, Shlomo Brom wrote in an analysis for Tel Aviv University’s Jaffee Center for Strategic Studies, that Israeli intelligence services and political leaders provided: “an exaggerated assessment of Iraqi capabilities,” raising “the possibility that the intelligence picture was manipulated”. The analysis said that when: “Israeli intelligence became aware that certain items had been transferred by the head of the regime from Iraq to Syria, Israeli intelligence immediately portrayed it... as if Iraq was moving weapons of mass destruction out of Iraq in order to conceal them.”
The report faulted intelligence officials for discounting the more likely scenario that Hussein and his aides were moving cash or family members out of the country in anticipation of the attack.
On Dec 20th, 2001, journalist, (((Judith Miller))), stated in the New York Times that she heard about secret weapons of mass destruction labs hidden underneath Saddam's palaces, siting Deputy Secretary of Defense, (((Paul Wolfowitz))) (also on the payroll of Northrop Grumman; and later head of the World Bank) Richard Perle, and Israeli intelligence. She added that Syria was involved, sourcing Wolfowitz, Perle and Israel. Miller was one of the people one 9/11 mailed a hoax letter of anthrax which read ''death to America and death to Israel''; she was the girlfriend of (((Scooter Libby))), (from the Plame Affair) a lawyer for the Mossad, and for Marc Rich.
(Libby wrote a book, called The Apprentice, about underage Japanese girls getting raped by a bear.)
The big Yahu himself even went before Congress to accuse Iraq of having WOMDs.
Yellow cake uranium (Plame Affair) - Retired diplomat, Joseph Wilson was sent over to Niger to find evidence that Saddam was trying to purchase yellow-cake uranium powder from Niger.
When he didn't find any, Karl Rove's full time foreign policy advisor, (((Michael Ledeen))) (from Iran-Contra) had to forge documents depicting an attempt by Saddam in Iraq to purchase yellow-cake from Niger during the Iraq disarmament crisis.
They were so sloppy that they didn't even fake the right name on the documents, and ignorantly used that of a former foreign minister, who had not been in power for over a decade
Michael Ledeen organized a meeting in Rome to gather evidence to support the planned war. Present at the meeting was Pentagon analyst Larry Franklin, who was later prosecuted for giving classified information to AIPAC.
After Bush falsely announced in his State of the Union address that Saddam attempted to buy uranium from Niger, Joseph Wilson complained to journalists and contacts in the State Department and CIA.
In retaliation, Rove, Richard Armitage and (((Scooter Libby))) attempted to smear him with accusations of spousal favoritism, involving his wife Valorie Plame, who was undercover at the time for the CIA.
This involved leaking her identity to the press, blowing her cover, which was and is illegal.
Jeff Gannon was a writer for Talon News and also a gay prostitute. He referenced an internal government memo about the Plame affair during an October, 2003 interview with Wilson, asking if he disputed a memo detailing how his wife, Valerie, suggested him for a CIA mission to Niger. This sparked FBI inquiries into how Gannon obtained knowledge of the classified document, which prosecutors investigated to determine if it was leaked by White House officials; this revealed Armitage, Rove and Scooter Libby as the leakers—although, as a fall guy for Dick Chaney, Libby was the only one who got in trouble, receiving a fine and 30 months in prison, which got commuted to 0 by Bush; then later, Trump gave him a full pardon, just for good measure.
Mobile weapons labs - In a 2003 New York times article, (((Judith Miller))) made reference to a speech in which Deputy Secretary of Defense, Paul Wolfowitz, claimed that defectors from Iraq had told the US government about the construction of "mobile units to produce biological weapons". She also claimed that intelligence officials told her that a defector had told them that chemical and biological weapons labs were hidden beneath hospitals and inside presidential palaces.
The trucks were actually for hot air balloons, as revealed by British scientist and weapons expert, David Kelly, who, that same year, allegedly slit his writs before overdosing on painkillers. His last correspondence was with Judith Miller.
Anthrax - Israeli security forces claimed to have witnessed 9/11 hijacker, Muhammad Atta receiving anthrax from senior Iraqi officials in Prague. This was passed on to CIA director, James Woolsey, (on the advisory board of the Jewish Institute for National Security of America) who passed it to media outlets. The first publication to report it was the New York Observer, owned by (((Charles Kushner))). PNAC member, Gary Schmidt, who wrote about it in PNAC's Weekly Standard; the Weekly Standard was co-founded by Bill Kristol, and its prime financial sponsor was Lockheed Martin.
The lie was repeated by (((William Safire))) of the New York Times, and reiterated by (((Richard Perle))) in the NYT and (((Paul Wolfowitz))) in the San Francisco Chronicle. Wolfowitz then made a statement before the US House of National Security committee which called for a war with Iraq based on such claims.
The lie was passed to the White House by (((Doug Feith))).
Aluminum tubes - (((Judith Miller))) of the New York Times made up the lie about Iraq's aluminum tubes allegedly being used as Centrifuges in a nuclear reactor, despite the fact that it wouldn't physically work.
Al-Qaeda - A 2007 Pentagon Inspector General report confirmed that Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, (((Doug Feith))), used his office to develop, produce, and disseminate "alternative intelligence assessments" regarding the Iraq-al-Qaeda relationship, which contradicted the consensus of the US Intelligence Community.
The war itself
The war cost $2T, doubling the price of gas; over 8,200 American lives, including soldiers (4,431) and contractors (3,800); and 200,000 to over 500,000 Iraqi lives, 185,000 to 209,000 of which were civilians.
Blackwater - Blackwater was a private mercenary firm tried for murder and rape. 14 who went to jail got pardoned by Trump. Their lawyer was Fred F. Fielding, from the 9/11 commission, who counter-sued the family of the contractor's victims, whose burned corpses were hung from a bridge in Fallujah, to block them from gaining access to the circumstances surrounding the event.
Joseph Schmitz, brother of White House Counsel John P. Schmitz, was a former executive with Blackwater Worldwide. He was also the inspector general of the DoD who refused to investigate, and helped cover up, a fraud scandal involving Boeing and Richard Perle's company, Hollinger.
Nisour Square massacre - In 2007, Blackwater opened fire on Iraqi civilians in Nisour Square in Baghdad. The unprovoked attack killed 17 civilians and wounding of 20 others.
Looting Baghdad museum - For 36 hours, thieves and insiders ransacked the Iraq Museum in Baghdad, stealing an estimated $15K in Mesopotamian artifacts and jewelry while coalition forces were stationed nearby.
Puppy Video - During the war, a Marine filmed his friend lobbing a puppy off of a cliff.
Jessica Lynch - Jessica Lynch was an American soldier who was captured by the Iraqis. Although she has always maintained that she was treated well in the hospital where she was kept, author Rick Bragg, insisted in her biography that she had suppressed a memory of being raped by her captors. The notion that she was raped was also reported by mainstream news outlets like the BBC and NYT.
Torture - In 2004, Brigadier General Janis Karpinski, a senior officer in charge of the Abu Ghraib prison, testified at a military court hearing, that an Arabic-speaking Israeli interrogator came and spoke to her at an intelligence facility in Baghdad.
Several individuals, including Eric Fair, a contract interrogator for the private firm CACI at Abu Ghraib, have alleged that US interrogators were trained to use a torture device known as the Palestinian chair, designed to restrain prisoners in painful postures.
Other torture methods included sleep deprivation, hooding, sensory bombardment, rape, contact with human experiment and the pouring of phosphoric acid on detainees.
According to public lectures and findings reported by journalist, Seymour Hersh, women were occasionally arrested and held alongside their young children. In specific recorded instances, boys were subjected to severe physical abuse and sodomy; the resulting soundtrack of the children shrieking was subsequently played back to their mothers to force them to cooperate when other interrogation methods failed.
The context of this famous picture is that they told him he would be shocked if he fell off of the box. This was used as a method of sleep deprivation.
White phosphorus - Even though the US was and is a signatory to the ICRC's Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, the US used white phosphorus on civilians, causing babies to be born with major birth defects.
Who benefited
Gulf War - During the first Gulf War, Iraq initiated a missile campaign against Israel to try and lure them into the war to ruin public opinion of them in the Middle East. Instead of firing back, Israel played the long game.
Destabilization of the area - The Clean Break memo, commissioned by (((Richard Perle))), addressed to Netanyahu, was a policy paper describing how Israel would benefit from the Iraq War, through destabilization of the region. (((David Wurmser))) and (((Doug Feith))) were signatories to the paper. This was also detailed in A Strategy for Israel, (Yinon Plan) by Israeli general Ariel Sharon advisor Oded Yinon.
Oil - Regime change allowed the Kirkuk to Haifa pipeline from Iraq to Israel to be reopened from when it was closed in 1948 after the founding of Israel; it also eliminated the 25% premium Israel was paying for oil from Iraq. Doug Feith's law partner, (((Marc Zell))), explained in a in interview that Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister, Ahmed Chalabi, promised to reopen the Kirkuk to Haifa pipeline and enable a huge amount of business between Iraq and Israel. While Benjamin Netanyahu was Israel's Finance Minister in 2003, he went to London to find people willing to invest in the expansion of the Kirkuk to Haifa pipeline.
The US already had the Oil-for-Food Programme, and oil exports from Iraq didn't increase after the war; Israel, on the other hand, got 77% of its oil from Iraq after the war.
Dick Cheney - Vice President Dick Cheney profited from the Iraq War through his former company, Halliburton, which was awarded lucrative government contracts for reconstruction and other services in Iraq. While Cheney had left Halliburton to become Vice President, he continued to receive a deferred income from the company.
Richard Perle - Boeing invested $20M in Richard Perle's venture capital fund, Trireme Partners, which focused on homeland security and defense technologies during the Iraq War.
Doug Feith - Doug Feith was on the payroll of Lockheed martin. He also partnered with Israeli settler, Marc Zell to create Feith & Zell, P.C., which got to delegate reconstruction contracts in Iraq.
Paul Wolfowitz - (((Wolfowitz))) was also on the payroll of Lockheed Martin. He also became President of the World Bank in 2005, which resumed lending to Iraq during and after the war.
Iran War
In 2026, Iraqi shepherd, Awad Hadi al-Shummari, stumbled upon a secret Israeli base operating in Iraq during the Iran War, exposing its existence. He was later found dead in his car.
