Why they didn't kill him
Vietnam - People think that Kennedy was against intervention in Vietnam because in 1963 he approved NSAM 263, which withdrew 1000 American soldiers stationed there, and promised to withdraw all personnel by 1965.
However, the ZR/RIFLE files mention Kennedy trying to put pressure on President Diệm of South Vietnam; the move to withdraw US troops may have been a means of doing so for his inability to counter communism. Not long after, Diệm would be assassinated, which is probably why this came up in relation to ZR/RIFLE.
Kennedy saw a huge escalation of the war, authorizing napalm, chemical weapons, and in violation of troop limits set at Geneva, the deployment of thousands of so-called "advisors," eventually 12,000 US troops, to the country by 1962. In the 10 months before Diệm's assassination, Kennedy had spent around $6.5B on South Vietnam's war effort.
Silver Certificates - Another speculated cause pertains to his signing of Executive Order 11110, which delegated the issuing of silver certificates which could be used as legal tender for public and private debts, and exchanged for silver held in government reserves. Supposedly this was to challenge the fiat based Federal reserve.
But EO 11110 didn't order the issuance of Silver Certificates, but an amendment to EO 10289, which delegated to the Secretary of the Treasury power to the President to alter the supply of Silver Certificates in circulation if need be. The move was to remedy the Silver Purchase Act being repealed, preventing the Treasury Secretary from controlling the issue of Silver Certificates on their own authority. The fed began issuing small denomination notes almost immediately after the legislation was passed and, in October 1964, ceased issuing silver certificated all together.
In two speeches just before his 1960 election, Kennedy said he was committed to keeping the Federal Reserve: "I do not, let me make clear, advocate any changes in the constitution of the Federal Reserve System. It is important to keep the day-to-day operations of the Federal Reserve removed from political pressures."
If EO 11110 was such a threat, why did it stay on the books until 1982 when it was made obsolete?
Bay of Pigs - The Bay of pigs was a failed false flag operation where the CIA landed a bunch of trained Cuban exiles to invade Cuba, while planes painted to look Cuban staged a fake coup. Their hope was that the people would turn on Castro, but that never happened. The take which goes around is that Kennedy was killed because he didn't send in the army or give air support to aid the Cuban exiles.
But Kennedy did give air support, and the only reason he didn't send in the army is because the CIA botched the operation, exposing their involvement, meaning it wouldn't have looked like a coup, but direct US provocation, which it was. Kennedy ordered an air umbrella for the invasion force, however the 6 fighter plains sent, arrived an hour late; this was put down to a time zone discrepancy between Nicaragua and Cuba. Equipment meant for the Cuban exiles was lost due to communications problems, ship and aircraft losses, air dropped weapons sinking into swamps, and the likelihood that a lot of the weapons meant for the invasion had been diverted to Israel to fight Palestinians.
If the CIA was so butt-hurt about Cuba, why didn't they invade after Kennedy was assassinated?
Why they killed him
Israeli nukes - In 1961 Kennedy signed the Arms Control and Disarmament Act, exempting signatories in its violation from foreign aid. Despite its nuclear capacity, Israel is still not a signatory to the treaty on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. For those who don't know, Israel had a covert nuclear development facility built by France in the 50s in exchange for intelligence during the Algerian war of independence. The uranium used to develop Israel's nuclear arsenal was stolen from the US.
After American U2 spy plains spotted Israel's unaccounted for rig in Dimona, Kennedy sent a letter to Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion dated June 15 1963, demanding an immediate first visit followed by regular visits every six months, otherwise, he wrote: "this government's commitment to and support of Israel could be seriously jeopardized." (𓃠) To avoid dealing with the letter, Ben-Gurion resigned the next day, soon after giving a speech criticizing the US for denying Israel's right to possess nukes. As soon as Levi Eshkol took office, Kennedy sent him a similar letter dated June 5th 1963, but never got an answer. Kennedy is quoted as saying: "the sons of bitches lie to me constantly about their nuclear capability".
AIPAC - Both JFK and RFK supported J. William Fulbright’s hearings on foreign lobbies, which scrutinized the activities of foreign lobbying groups, including the American Zionist Council. These hearings revealed that tax-exempt donations to United Jewish Appeal were being funneled back to the US for lobbying purposes. The Department of Justice, under RFK, demanded that the AZC register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in October 1963. They got out of the order by changing the name to AIPAC, which is now the largest lobby group in America, despite being technically illegal. After RFK's death the case was buried by Nicholas Katzenbach, the new head of the DOJ.
Palestinian right of return - JFK supported UN resolution 194 for the right of return of the 800,000 Palestinian refugees expelled in 47 and 48. For the last time on November 20, 1963, the US delegation for the United Nations put this issue back on the agenda, causing a strong protest in Israeli circles. In a letter to his father, Kennedy said: "The sympathy of the people on the spot seems to be with the Arabs. This is not only because the Jews have had, at least some of their leaders, an unfortunately arrogant, uncompromising attitude, but they feel that after all, the country has been Arabic for the last few hundred years, and they naturally feel sympathetic. After all, Palestine was hardly Britain’s to give away."
Reducing oil depletion allowance - In 1963, JFK announced his plans on reducing oil depletion allowance, which at the time exempted 27.5% of revenues from oil companies from tax. Kennedy mentioned numbers, that would have cut out hundreds of millions of profits from Texas oil investors. (𓃠)
Betrayal of the Mafia - In the late 50s the Senate Labor rackets committee investigated mafia corruption in trade unions. As chief legal council, Robert Kennedy called numerous prominent gangsters to depositions, including Jimmy Hoffa, Johnny Roselli, Carlos Marcelo, Santos Trafficante and Sam Giancana.
JFK's father, Joe Kennedy was a bootlegger during the prohibition era. In 1960, the same year the Senate Labor Rackets Committee was dissolved, Joe cut a deal with Chicago mobster, Sam Giancana to help John win Illinois as a swing state, through promotion and voter fraud.
Aside from bribes and intimidation, Giancana registered ghost votes from Chicago cemeteries, and paid bar owners to keep Kennedy's campaign song, High Hopes by Frank Sinatra, playing on jukeboxes across the country. Giancana had told an associate: "Bobby will just be another goddamn lawyer soon. They promised me they'll take care of him." According to FBI documents and wiretaps, Kennedy had ''direct contact'' with (((Meyer Lansky))) during the 1960 presidential campaign, presumably for the purpose of shoring up mob support for his presidential campaign. Instead of getting Robert off of the mob's back, John made him attorney general, prompting a further campaign of prosecutions, leading to the arrest of Jimmy Hoffa, and the deportation of Carlos Marcello to Guatemala. (later flown back by David Ferrie)
CIA - After the CIA botched the bay of pigs invasion, Kennedy aborted the mission, later commenting his interest to "...splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds." A few weeks later he wrote up national security actions 54 56 and 57 declaring that the joint chiefs of staff would be held responsible for all covert military actions in peace times. He also fired CIA chief Allen Dulles, deputy director Charles Cabell, and deputy director Richard Bissel
Opposition to neo-colonialism - JFK's foreign policy was at least in part sympathetic to resource rich countries, which the CIA, under by the Dulles brothers, had sought to exploit.
(The Congo) On December 1, 1960, Patrice Lumumba, the first prime minister of the newly independent Congo, was captured by political rivals.
Declassified documents confirm that the CIA not only planned to remove Patrice Lumumba from power, but actively pursued his elimination; director Allen Dulles authorized covert operations, including a poison plot. UN secretary general, Dag Hammarskjöld had asked Kennedy, as president elect, to intercede to get Lumumba released from prison. 48 hours before Kennedy's inauguration, Lumumba was executed.
Hammarskjöld would later die in a mysterious plane crash while working on a peace treaty between the Congo and the Belgian backed break away state of Katanga. When his body was recovered, he had an ace of spades stuffed in his collar. Declassified documents reveal Allen Dulles's involvement in the Sabotage of the plane, a plot known to the agency as Operation Celeste.
They installed Mobutu Sese Seko as dictator, who changed the name of the country to Zaire and allowed IMF officials to be put in its treasury. Zaire's external debt went from 5% of the countries GDP to 115%. By the 90s, the DRC privatized almost all of its profitable businesses.
(Indonesia) Post-colonial leader, President Sukarno was guilty of developing Indonesia and gaining economic independence for the resource rich country.
Where the Dulles brothers had tried to overthrow him, Kennedy invited Sukarno to Washington. Sukarno liked Kennedy so much, that he had constructed a whole new building for him to visit. Three days before his death, Kennedy signed an 11M aid package to to improve infrastructure and education.
(Egypt) John foster Dulles destroyed the American relationship with Egypt by reneging on a deal he had made with Nasser on constructing the Aswan dam up the Nile river. Nasser was a pan Arabist, who had slighted Western powers by nationalizing the Suez Canal in 1956, prompting a French, British and Israeli invasion into Egypt. When Kennedy got into office, he told McGeorge Bundy, his national security advisor, he wanted to make rebuilding the relationship with Nasser one of the countries highest priorities, later backing Nasser against Saudi Arabia over Yemen.
(Algeria) In a speech he gave in 1957, on the Florida senate, Kennedy spoke against backing France in the Algerian war of independence.
Why they preferred LBJ
Dimona - Unlike JFK, Johnson turned a blind eye to Israel's nuclear capacity. John McCone, the CIA director named by Kennedy to inform him about Israel's Dimona project, resigned in 1965, complaining about Johnson's complete lack of interest. According to historian, Stephan Green, Dimona was referred to as the sensitive issue, and: "Lyndon Johnson's white house saw no Dimona, heard no Dimona, and spoke no Dimona, when the reactor went critical in 1964."
Background - Johnson had Jewish ancestry on his mother's side, and his father and grandfather fought for clemency of Jewish child killer, Leo Frank, the man who the ADL would be created to defend. Johnson's aunt, Jesse Hatcher, was a major influence on him, and a member of the Zionist organization of America.
Smuggling - In the 40s, LBJ helped businessman, Jim Novy illegally ship weapons in boxes marked ''Texas grapefruit'' to Zionist militias. (𓃠)
Six Day War - Johnson cut economic aid to Egypt and increased military aid to Israel, which, according to Stephen Green, reached $92M in 1966, more than the total of all the previous years combined. Johnson had given the green light for Israel's attack on Egypt and authorized James Angleton of the CIA to give them the precise positions of the Egyptian airbases, which enabled Israel to destroy them in just a few hours.
He helped cover up Israel's failed false flag attack on the USS Liberty, stating: ''I don't give a damn if the ship sinks, and all the Americans are killed, I will not embarrass our ally.''
After the Six Day War, Johnson had scrutiny over the crafting of UN resolution 242, the American and British drafters of which opposed Israel returning all the territories it had captured.
Blackmail - Some of his support may have been coerced by blackmail, as Johnson was having an affair with Irgun terrorist, Mathilda Krim, wife of Johnson advisor, and willing cuck, Arthur Krim.
As a matter of fact, that's what he was doing on the day the Six Day War broke out. They woke Johnson up to tell him the news while Mathilda Krim was staying at the guest room.
Zionists support
Johnson's electoral campaign was financed by Abraham Feinberg, president of Americans for Haganah incorporated, and a key financier of the Dimona project.
JFK reported to Charles Bartlett that Feinberg had also approached him, proposing: "we know your campaign is in trouble. We are willing to pay your bills if you let us have Control of your middle east policy". Kennedy's original choice for running mate was Stuart Symington. It was two strong supporters of Israel, Washington post publisher Philip Graham and his main colonist Joseph Alsup, who convinced Kennedy to take Johnson as his running mate, most likely with threats of blackmail pertaining to his adultery. According to Evelyn Lincoln, Kennedy's personal secretary, "Jack knew that Hoover and LBJ would just steal the air with womanizing". Kennedy once apologized to his assistant Hyman Raskin, saying: "you know we had never considered Lyndon, but I was left with no choice. Those bastards were trying to frame me. They threatened me with problems, and I don't need more problems."
For those who suspect Johnson's complicity, right after Kennedy's assassination, General Godfrey McHugh found LBJ crouched down in the shower of the president's office, crying, saying: “It’s a plot, it’s a plot, they’re going to get us all”
