Israeli art student spy-ring
Before 9/11, some Israelis were busted in Los Angeles and New York with $40M worth of MDMA or ecstasy in each city; that's 2,192 pounds of ecstasy pills.
Shortly after 9/11, over 200 Israelis were arrested and deported in 2001 in what could be the worst and most aggressive case of espionage in the US since Jonathan Pollard. They were visiting federal buildings, mostly the DEA offices; none of them were really art students and they lied about their credentials. They repeatedly made contact with US government personnel by saying they wanted to sell cheap art or handiwork, likely with bugging devices in them. Documents say they targeted and penetrated military bases, the DEA, FBI, and dozens of other government facilities, and even secret offices and unlisted private homes of law enforcement and intelligence personnel. The majority of those questioned, stated they served in military intelligence, electronic surveillance intercept, and or explosive ordinance units. The fake art students worked in cells with team leaders. Curiously, they even spied on DEA offices and home addresses, which were unlisted. Orlando's DEA linked telephone numbers from the art students to ongoing investigations into a massive MDMA ring.
You can see that leaders in the art student ring had Al-Qaeda counterparts who they mirrored in travel.
One of the leaders in the art student spy ring was Yaron Shmuel, the same explosive expert, witnessed celebrating 9/11 at Doric Towers.
Six of the students were carrying cell phones purchased by a former Israeli vice consul to the US. According to Le Monde, two of them had traveled from Hamburg to Miami to visit an FBI agent at his home, then boarded a flight to Chicago and visited the home of a Justice Department agent, then hopped on a direct flight to Toronto all in one day; nobody does that without state assistance.
The art students started raising much bigger red flags when a cell leader was caught in Hollywood, Florida. His name was Hanan Serfati; his financial transactions show that he deposited $93,252 and withdrew $86K in a period of two months. He was living next door to Muhammad Atta and four other hijackers,
and he rented another place just 900 yards away from Atta's post box. His roommate, Uzi Bohadada, was arrested in Mississippi three days after 9/11. Their address was 701 South 21st Avenue, Unit 201, Hollywood, Florida. (Uzi later got his jaw broken in jail for mouthing off about America.)
A highly placed government investigator said there were ''tie-ins,'' but when asked for details, he flatly refused to describe them, saying: ''evidence linking these Israelis to 9/11 is classified. I cannot tell you about evidence that has been gathered. It's classified information.''
Michael Chertoff - Future head of the Department of Homeland Security, (((Michael Chertoff))), who at the time ran the Department of Justice's Criminal Investigation Division, had dozens of the Israelis who were arrested on 9/11, including those filming and celebrating the attacks and driving around in vehicles that acted as a front for the Mossad, deported back for simple visa violations. Chertoff was the co-author of the US Patriot Act, a totalitarian legislation pushed through Congress under the threat of anthrax. Chertoff's mother was born in pre-state Israel, and was a participant in Operation Magic Carpet; his father was a Zionist rabbi, as was his uncle; and his wife is a leader in the ADL.
The Shea Memorandum - Gerald Shea ran an independent investigation on all the police reports from the South-west to North-east regarding the art student rings, sending his findings to the 9/11 Commission, and the Senate and House Committees on Intelligence, as well as the Joint House Anchorage; all collectively ignored it.
The DEA groups were cells of eight to ten people, and they had an octopus structure; one would be the money distributor, like Serfati; pairs would go out to sell art and film buildings; pairs would be the drivers doing pickup and delivery of the fake art students, and pairs would do electronic eavesdropping from moving vans. The NSA gave the FBI multiple warnings.
Itay Simon and Michael Kalanovic were cell leaders; Kabanovic was a recently discharged electronic interceptor operator for the Israeli military; he rented apartments for 25 different Israeli operatives. Simon was a liaison between the DEA group and a group in Israel; selling art door-to-door was a ploy to get visas so that agents could flood the country. Itay Simon used this for at least five individuals brought over from Israel. Simon and Kabanovic were held on $50K bond by INS and someone posted it for them. Lihor Baram was a former intelligence officer, as was Marina Gilman, Shay Ashkenazi, and Dilka Borenstein.
Tomer Ben Dor was arrested in Rutherford, where both the dancing Israelis were arrested and where Nice Systems has its headquarters; he was an employee of Nice Systems Limited, an Israeli company specializing in systems and solutions for detecting, locating, monitoring, evaluating, and analyzing voice communications and other transmissions for a variety of sources, activities commonly known as wiretapping and electronic eavesdropping. Aran Ofek was the son of a two-star Israeli general.
Michael Gal got a $10K bail paid by an AMDOCS employee, Ophir Baer. AMDOCS was an Israeli based company which generated computerized records and billing data for nearly every phone call in America. 9/11 Suspects may have been tipped off to what they were doing by information leaking out of AMDOCS.
