Destruction of Churches by Settlers
Price Tag attacks - In what are known as price tag attacks, Israeli settlers set fire to mosques and churches, spray painting the slogan price tag, implying it to be the price of Palestinian attacks on Israelis. This has also happened to cars and a Palestinian cherry orchard. (𓃠,𓃠)
Tabgha Church fire - In 2015 Yinon Reuveni was convicted for setting fire to church at Tabgha, on the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus is said to have performed the miracle of the loaves and fishes. "Idols will be cast out or destroyed" had been on its walls.
Gethsemane Church Attempted Arson - In 2020 an Israeli settler attempted to burn down Gethsemane Church in occupied East Jerusalem, where Jesus is believed to have been betrayed by Judas. (𓃠)
Vandalization of Prison of Christ Church - In 2023 an Israeli settler vandalized Prison of Christ Church in Jerusalem before trying to burn it. The man in question was deemed by the police to be mentally unstable. (𓃠)
Vandalization of the Armenian Patriarchate - In 2023 Israeli fanatics attacked the Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem, removing the Armenian flag, while spraying “Death to the Arabs and Gentiles,” “Death to Christians,” and “Death to the Armenians” on its walls.
